Kyle Smith is the Founder and Director of LOCKSMITH, serving attorneys, firms, and individuals across Southeast Tennessee. Kyle personally leads and executes the firm’s core field work, including civil process serving, investigative assignments for attorneys, court filings, and related legal support—ensuring each engagement is handled with precision, discretion, and full procedural compliance.
With a background in business strategy and digital operations, paired with legal studies at Vanderbilt Law School and the University of Tennessee, Kyle brings both operational discipline and real-world execution to the work. His approach is shaped by hands-on experience in the field and a deep respect for the practical realities attorneys face when deadlines, accuracy, and documentation matter most.
Brian K . Smith
With over 40 years in law enforcement, private investigation, and public service, Brian K. Smith serves as the backbone of LOCKSMITH’s expertise and field integrity. A former Chief Deputy of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office and Detective Sergeant with the Cleveland Police Department, Brian has led major investigations, covert surveillance operations, and intelligence programs that shaped regional criminal enforcement.
In addition to founding a private investigations firm and serving as a County Commissioner for eight years, Brian has consulted for law firms on complex legal investigations and fraud cases. His career has been recognized by the Tennessee General Assembly for outstanding public service and law enforcement leadership.
At LOCKSMITH, Brian brings this deep operational insight to both field work and instruction—helping ensure the team delivers not only compliant, high-caliber services, but also real-world, legally sound training to the next generation of professionals.
